Sup’s ‘96 Voodoo Hoodoo Build

Long story short, I lost what I thought was my forever job (politics is a bunch of BS) and struggling through depression, I’m trying to get life back on track.

My daughter’s Specialized Crosstrail was recently stolen after I put a ton of upgrades on it this year. We enjoyed a lot of great rides together over the summer. The time together really kept both of us grounded.

That brings us to this - a ‘96 Voodoo. The goal is comfort, reliability and ease of use. I recently discovered the joy of a steel frame. Perhaps she will appreciate the ride too. Seemingly one of the good years with Ritchey dropouts, it will be equipped with Mavic CrossLink wheels, Shimano Deore 1x10 components, Rock Shox Psylo, Ritchey cockpit and Thomson stem & seatpost.
