xt all the way xtr is for racing high performance but comes with a lower life span its true sorry to burst bubbles if you need an m735 front mech i might be able to help
The XTR stuff of the M900 era is as bullet proof as it comes...same can't be said for the latest XTR stuff, like the poster above me stated, it's meant for lightness and performance which equates to a short lifespan.
But back t your question...I can also confirm what another poster above stated in that Suntour XC Pro stuff is lighter than the M900 XTR stuff of the same era, but requires a bit more maintenance. I have equipment from both groupsets, and prefer the M900 xtr stuff.
Type in "M900" on ebay, as well as "M735" to see price differences. From what I've seen, the Suntour XC Pro stuff goes for just as much, especially if it's in great condition.
