Stupid Bottom Bracket question

Just taken the bottom bracket out of my 92 Saracen Kili Pro and the bottom bracket and the marking for the length says 'DNL'.

I'm trying to find out what that means but google isn't coming up with anything. Does anybody have an idea?

The bottom bracket is a Shimano UN54 68mm.

EDIT: ok might as well get anal.

It's old money from the time of separate axles, (pre XTR, hence you have new marking on them that actually tell you the length now)
There are different naming meaning the same thing, as always but D-NL is common as it'll be stamped on most Shimano's of this length somewhere, often around the axle just outside the cartridge case.

Anyway it is D-NL
D means it's bolt type axle (er so not the nut type )
N is the drive side length (read of a chart, buggered if I can remember)
L is t'other sides length (but in relation to the the drive side. L= longer, S = shorter, omitted I think means it's the same?)

Anyway you can look it all up in a good book such as Sutherlands 6th 20th anniversary.

edited above to include info. and the new marking you might see are MM107, MM110 and LL113, XL118. but you can guess the length. Not actually sure what MM and LL XL stand for but MM have the same drive side length ?

D-H I think is another old one and is the missing 115 length from above. (H being comparable to N above but a shorter length obviously.) Is this an old road standard ?

there used to be a sheall width making in there so you new the distance between the bearing. the D, N are from the bearing length iirc.

Again the book I mention has it all in and where I remember it from, I was looking for comparables to some Suntour bottom bracket and trying to figure otu 110 lengths.

68mm strange the one I took out of my kili race elite was a 73mm?

The frame is a 92 e-stay Kili Pro so must be a slightly different set up.

The Kili Pro uses True Temper AVR tubing.
