Stuck hub lockring….help needed

Help needed undoing this…..WD40 and brute force isn’t doing much. Hub needs servicing (m737 rear) but can’t budge the lockring, much corrosion as you can see.
Thoughts on undoing this, is heat the next option? If no good, I “may” have to angle grind the outer lock ring off……hopefully not.

Leverage should sort it out.

If you have a vise secure the nut at the other end and use a cheater bar to multiply the force, keep applying WD40 too.

Try the other side. If you can get that off, you can pull the axle through and out. Makes it easier to get tools on and/or soak in penetrating fluid like plusgas. Wd40 isn't very good as a releasing agent.

News update, it’s removed, I ended up cutting it off successfully - no other parts were harmed, just the non drive side locking nut. It now explains why the hub has apparently never been serviced……I’ve cleaned and will rebuild, but not sure how serviceable it is - new m737 hub may be required 😝
