Street Art - Bikes - Graffiti

...and today I was 15 miles across the city (this place is such a sprawl) in Tottenham and Walthamstow, perhaps London's best least well known street art destination.

First up I visit a couple of artworks that I first photographed in 2017, and they'd been up a few years before that, from about 2015 I think, hence the fading. It is testament to how they are loved by the local community that a decade later they remain intact. Both by Irony and Boe.

..and Irony has done a more recent fox, which even includes a shadow, top work indeed :)

This mural is known as ' the angel.of Forest Road' and is by Erin Holly and portrays Joseph Torres, an innocent man who was shot and killed in a revenge killing aged just 20, by a gang that mistook him for somebody else in 2021.

..and nearby is this mural by Gabriel Pitcher portraying local man and unsung hero Steve Barnabis who founded and runs Project Zero, which "engages young people in positive activities to promote social inclusion, reduce anti-social / offending behaviour and strengthen community cohesion.

And near Tottenham Hale is this mural by Dreph called 'Duality'.

As I was in the area I wanted to check whether another mural I last photographed in 2017 was still there, and it was. Love this, by Xenz.
