Do you want the fight of your life?

Well. Here’s some old Stronglight road cranks with M525s thoroughly welded in place.

Seriously. I’ve tried heat cycles, freezing, soaking for weeks, bent spanner’s trying to wrench them apart (which yes has rounded the an edge of the pedal flats I was fighting).

I just give up so before I launch them in the skip, if anyone fancies a battle. £5 posted.

Enough to cover postage and a Freddo to regain my strength. Only one Freddo. Those things are expensive!

Not familiar with strip down of those pedals - could you disassemble in situ and then get the pedal flats into a vice? Go on, you know you don't really want to give up! 💪

Oh yeah I’ve tried that too 😅 the plastic cap you have to unscrew is… well… plastic. So without putting sort of vice grips being the only option for undoing without cutting up a proper tool it easily slips and starts to chew up the plastic.
