In case you have been wondering about these banners that appear below peoples usernames and how to get them yourself, here is a brief run down.
Retrobike Rider and MacRetro Rider
You need to attend an 'official' Retrobike ride to get a 'Retrobike Rider' banner. You also need to do it on a suitably retro bike too. When you attend a ride the ride organiser will collect any new names and pass this information onto John who will apply the banner.
Scottish riders get the MacRetro Ecurie while everyone else gets the standard blue banner.

Gold Trader
The 'Gold Trader' banner is all about your sales reputation and feedback.
You need 30+ positive feedbacks in the feedback forum for this one.

Bike of the Month
'BoTM winner' is awarded for winning the Bike of The Month competition.
98 + Bike of the Month
'BoTM winner' is awarded for winning the 98 and onwards Bike of The Month competition.
Road Bike of the Month
'rBoTM winner' is awarded for winning the Road Bike of The Month competition.
Bike of the Year
'BoTY winner' is awarded for winning the prestigious Bike of The Year competition.
Picture of the Month
'PoTM winner' is awarded for winning the Picture of The Month competition.
Feature Bike
This indicates that one or more of the forum member's bikes has been used in a special feature on the Retrobike front page.
Moderator
'Moderator' indicates the forum user is a moderator.
Retired Moderator
'Retired Moderator' indicates the forum user is a retired moderator.
Admin
'Admin' indicates the the forum administrator.
Banned User
The banner that nobody wants.
Other Banners
There are a few other banners (usually the pink ones) which have been earned in various ways. There are a couple of examples above and some are more obvious than others.
John the forum admin can give banners and can also taketh away.
