Wanted Spare Part for Avid Ultimate Black Ops V Brake calliper

Got to admit the build quality of the internal parts isn’t great
This small round part which goes inside broke a notch and need a replacement

Someone sold me a whole spares set but I’ve since sold the brakes

One of my friends lost the same one and used instead an XTR ( or XT ) v-brake spare . As I remember it worked

I guess Shimano spares would be easy to find

I am not sure if this will work. The springs in XT V-brakes are pressed-fitted into the brake-arms, as far as I remember. I was trying to use another Avid-version, but there is the same issue.

I am not sure if was an XT spare ... it seems me more it was XTR . At this time it sound me strange but it worked : my friend was happy to follow using the brakes on another frame . Look on the Shimano catalogue for XTR ... maybe will help

I'm quite sure it was an XTR M950 : looking the following pictures of the XTR brakes springs are very similar to the Avid ones
