Just a bit of advice to any newbie cyclists who have no idea or clue about the rules of the road!
I saw this happen on Sunday morning by a guy on an MTB who scared the life out to a female pedestrian, shouting out abuse and deliberately went at the pedestrian, the cyclist was fully kitted out in hi-viz & helmet so seemed to value 'his' safety but he seemed not to care about that pedestrian. Shame on this rider.
If you intend to turn left or right do use your arm to signal your intentions before the junction.
If a pedestrian is crossing a junction well before any cyclist is there and the cyclist intends to turn left please indicate your intentions and allow the pedestrian to cross safely as they have the right of way and you should either slow right down or even stop.
On no account do you shout abuse because you are having to go around them.
