so the F1 season kicks off tomorrow!

Got up this morning to watch it on the computer but the channel that had shown the Practices had been banned. :(

Watched the BBC highlights I'd recorded, thought it was a good race. Like to see Button win, but as you say Hamilton doesn't do himself any favours by acting like that.

Ben Edwards is going to annoy me as much as that tosser Legard. Right from the start all he could do was constantly scream his commentary like a little girl in the playground. There's no need to scream your head off when you've got a microphone. Repeated interrupted Coulthard, not letting him finish what he was saying. Coulthard and Brundle were obviously friends who worked well together giving each other a chance to speak.

I watched the BBC highlights.

Tbh I enjoyed it more than the usual boring full race, you just get to watch the interesting bits and not hours of follow the leader

Brundle was Coulthards mentor and manager for most of his years in F1 and it showed.
Edwards is not as good but better than nothing.
Lotus are looking good for a rear end team I thought.

I'd prefer to have coultard back...

at least you didn't get the coverge we got... at least we got the UK comentarty for qualifying and the race... but the rest... we had some sort of morning show thing going on where all they did the entire time was interview Z grade stars from those hopeless talent shows... arrrrghhhhhhh

The BBC highlights were pretty much the whole race, edited out 2/3 SC laps and maybe 2/3 others, a good hour and a half of the race. Does get a tad boring when there's not a lot happening, though.

I knew that Brundle had been/maybe still is Coulthard's manager, seems like they are friends who are easy in each other's company. Edwards came across as competing with Coulthard for microphone time instead of being a co-commentator.

Always been a Jens fan so it was good to see him win, but it was GREAT to see Kimi back again with his comin' through driving style.

My top part of the race was Kimi on the radio to his pit crew, "Why are they always showing me the blue flags?" Possibly the longest sentence he's ever spoken....
