so the F1 season kicks off tomorrow!

Formula 1 should be FTA in one of the German, Italian or Spanish channels on the hotbird satellite. Just mute the channel and stick 5 live on the radio.

Loads of advise on the net, football fans get the Hotbird satellite to watch certain games. You either need another satellite dish or you can change your sky dish to a slightly larger one and fit a twin 6 degree offset LNB and then a generic satellite receiver. How cheaply it can be done depends on your skills, it can be done for less than 50quid but if you need to employ someone then it's more expensive. You'll receive 1000's of channels you don't get on Sky, mainly foreign though.

I've watched all 3 practice sessions on the computer. Didn't bother with Qualifying, awright I didn't wake up.
There were at least 2 streams of the F1 practice on JustinTV with the BBC guys Croft and Davidson commentating. Hope the race is on there tomorrow, I'll not be happy if I get up to watch it and there's nowt.

I appear to get the F1 as part of my HD package....an unexpected bonus, I thought the w@nkers would charge extra

edit: as SWMBO points out, next year it'll probably be part of the Sports package which we'll have to pay extra for

It was a major plus to have Brundle. I reckon Hill will come into his own as the season progresses. Personally I am glad to see the back of that idiot Jake Humphrey, but missed Jordan's knowledge.

Could do without that stupid pair with the daft graphics, but it is Sky after all so they must not disappoint their viewers who cannot understand anything unless it is made to look like a console game.

Exciting to see Schumacher in a more competitive car (-ish).

Roll on mid season and Vettel's inevitable unassailable lead in the driver's championship.

Lewis came over like a petulant infant. Sad. Give me fifty million a year and the chance to drive F1 cars for a living, I would never stop smiling.
