slowly does it, ever so slowly...!!

Allway been a fan of GT, specially the Zaskar and Xizangs (who isnt). Have had several Zaskars but couldnt ride properly on them
(19"was just too smal) so looking now for 20"models so round 1993-1996 wich seem to be very rare.

On the other hand, does that mean KLEIN will be less interested so cheaper. No, I dont think so......

I'm not saying they produce the best looking bikes, nor the ugliest.......

But, they do produce the best RIDING bikes 8)

What is it you like about the way they ride?

I'd like to know that to :?

I had a Zaskar once  it was a lovely dark blue one that I got cheap when I hung around bike shops far too much :D

I built it up with full XTR and SIDS and it was the most disappointing bike EVER :? even though it was light it rode like it was much heavier and had a horrible dead feeling to it :?

I sold it to a bloke who weighed 17 stone and liked jumps and he's still got it and its still in one piece  so their obviously built like tanks :D

But its one bike I never regretted selling

Light, responsive, a little forgiving, yet most of all, bomb proof 8)

As an 'all rounder', my Zaskar LE is the best riding bike I have ever owned 8)

 But you only have to see those three triangles...and your heart does a little skip of delight at seeing a proper , strong, well designed mountain bike...no silly curves, no silly fat tubes that snap, no silly radically sloping top tubes so you need a two foot seat post. No, it's good for the soul to look longingly on those three familair triangles, and to know, just know....it's right! 8)

What I like about GT.
I don't say love, I don't love GT, I just like them.

I wanted the RTS when I saw it. But by the time I had the money, the 2nd LTS was for sale.
I bought the LTS and I loved it, and still do. I still have it.
Now I also have the RTS (in buidl) and a Zaskar (frame)
My other ride is a great Trek 9900, and the LTS is just for the rougher rides, I'll never do it away.

Does anyone like GT's AND Konas? Or is that too f****d up
