Yes, great idea - bend the stays upwards (much like the stays on clip-on ones it seems). The frame's in really nice condition - tried to bring across as many parts as I could from the P7. The newly-laced on a new rear Hope Pro 4 rear hub was an extravagance though!

Almost all original, everything works as it should, crankset was replaced with an rx100 years ago apparently

Yes, the Thorns are designed to usr that boss halfway up on the rear of the fork for mudguards.
Either straight, like this, or put a dogleg in if the stay mount can't accommodate the rotation.

It helps with getting clearance around the brake caliper.

My very slow build Al-mega that's half built. A short while ago I came to the sudden realisation that I'm going to have to run a lot of seatpost and could do with the next size up really but it's so lovely I'm just going to carry on with it.

just want to provide pictures of my a bit exotic BSM bikes, both with ECS.

BSM, Barthold Sport Maschinen, was a local brand in south of Germany in the 90ties, almost all run by one guy.
He was providing moped tuning parts, has offered a 80ccm Motocross cycle and he was also designing and selling Bikes.



There had been many different bike frame and designs. Obviously Mr. Barthold seem to like a bit edgy designs.

The frames had been produced from CMD in Bassano del Grappa, Italy on behalf of BSM.

I do have an model Tubone, just not fully build up new (it'll get a nice STM suspension fork, once rebuild)


and a Hybrid Pro, pretty recent addition and build up new.
