Thanks. Bought it completely original (even with the brahma bars) in nearly mint condition but prefer a modern 1x setup so converted it. I can honestly say it's the nicest geometry out of any bike I've owned, mainly due to the extra long top tube compared with other 21-23" c-c bikes I have, so I ride it more. Yeah, 11-50t cheapo cassette that seems to be built to a decent standard although time will tell.

This was a bike I owned in the early 2000’s. I loved this bike. The paint job was great. Unfortunately this was stolen when I lived in Colchester.
Never seen one since.

Ah that’s handy. Thanks for sharing that. Been looking for one and the pic posted was from the states. Was a lovely bike from what i can remember

Recent purchase from the original owner, a 15" frame 1990 Diamond Back Ascent cleaned up and serviced with only new tyres/spokes/seat required. Love the smoky paint finish which sparkles when the sun comes out!

I’ve always wanted a titanium bike and a bike with pink on it. I have a TT pro……and now this beauty (1992 ascent EX) turned up 10 minutes from my door.

When I say beauty, I mean it will be a beauty!
Needs new decals (anyone know where to get a set from?), seat (biggest seat I’ve ever seen), t-bone stem and a very good clean/touch up! The removal of a kick stand and dork disc will also happen.

Diamond back Apex built yesterday from parts I had lying around including a Suntour XC PRO thumb shifter that wasn't being used. Frame purchased from pwebb on Thursday Cheers.

Excellent work there, plus skillfull matching of brakes to decals. Love it
