Show me your PACE canti rockers

Hey all

Been given some pace forks to mess around with but unsure on my rocker wokrs?

Also anyone got any old pace decals lying around, pref black and purple ones. - want to remove the metal pace ones,

have pm'd ' justbackdated '

Nooo.... dont remove those foils they are rocking horse poo-and the black/purple decals would be wrong and are even rarer!!

I have PM'd a piccy of some bits to you including a hardware kit to sort your rocker and some nice anodised stuff

I remember a few years ago going on a particularly wet and filthy ride and losing BOTH of the foils off my forks in one go :evil:

Saw this thread and thought I'd share some pics, with a little story.

My mate Steve gave my dad (AKA Muddy Paws) his old set of RC35s for his old Muddy Fox.

My dad gets himself a new Steerer sorted, and installs the forks, no problems, but gets to the brake set-up and isn't sure how it all works. So he phones me, and I hurry through an explanation (I'm at work at the time) and tell him to call if he gets stuck.

About half an hour later I get an email a sketch attached asking if he's got it right!

It's spot on.

A bit later I get another email with pics of his Courier comp, including a shot of the brake set-up.

right, my rocker looks like the one in the first pic, but that is different to the set up pic! (it is isnt it or am i going mad)

how do I set up a rocker like in the first pic, i.e with no pinch bolt... :?:

You'll need the brass barrel that connects to the end of the cable. PM tim 'Justbackdated',hes your boy.

Yep; there are actually two brass bits needed for the rocker in the top picture; a cable stop barrel and a jobbie with a grub screw in it to clamp the inner cable.
I have got some 'rebuild' kits that include all the hardware.
