Shipping from States. How long does it usually takes?

So I bought frame at US bay. Now, fifth week passing by and it's start to be very frustrating. Parcel been sent by US Postal air mail, insured but unfortunately non recorded delivery. Should I start worry about? I've contacted with seller but he couldn't help me too much. Any experience with US shipping?

ordered small parts like CK titanium headsets and larger things like full on snow bikes from the states, usually 10-14 days.

they can be in the UK after 3 days i have noticed on tracking, then sit here for a week or two.

I blame slow customs but surely it can't be that slow?

Hmmm, I have pallets come by boat from California that only take 5 weeks to land.... I'd expect anything like that to take around 2 weeks.

My Mantra came from West coast USA and got misrouted and ended up taking 3 weeks to get to the UK... If you have any kind of receipt number or anything I'd get in touch with USPS and see if they can help. Customs this end can be slow but wouldn't be that slow.

Bummer Just dropped a message about receipt, let's see what will happen. Really looking forward to build up this bike, polishing parts for it already. Would be a shame if parcel have been missing.

I had a bike that was delivered to home - but no-one to receive it so it went back to Parecelforce. They apparently put a card through the door which the dog must have eaten (no, I don't have a dog), so they sent the bike back to the US. Had to pay postage again for reshipping - but worth the 7 weeks it ultimately took!

If it was sent through the US Postal Service, you can not add a delivery confirmation/tracking number, but you should be able to track it by the customs form number.

be carefull here you need to use a good coureir like fed x etc not the unreliable standard post system

got a gt lobo frame from usa it came within a weeks but i had to pay vat an tax if i rember correct this added up to nearly £100

got some forks sent by standard us post every time the seller ( a shop) sent them they got returned by customs at the us end an never made it out of the country

Took just over 5 weeks to my fork to arrive from Hong Kong,Has to be coming a similar distance :? US customs are notorious though :?
