Shimano 105sc paint the same colour as 600 8s levers etc?

Always struggled to find a set of 8 speed dt levers for a bike that came equipped with 600 7 speed levers and an 8 speed cassette. (don't want to run friction, constantly)

Ive been offered some 8 speed 105 levers for a good price but they are the silver/champagne colour. To my eye, without being able to physically compare them, the colour looks, pretty much, the same as the light grey used on the 8spd levers and the lighter parts of the two tone 600 deraillleurs etc.

Yes, I know this is rather sad and no big deal, obviously :facepalm: . Just curious to know how they match up, side by side.

Job's a good 'un if the colour is, basically, the same. The 105 logos, I can live with.

It's not the same, 1055 colour is "champagne", a sort of very light beige. Ultegra (I guess you mean the tricolour version since you mention 8 speed) is grey (I'd describe it as "medium", as it's neither very light or very dark.

So not the same colour, but I think if both neither colour looks out of place on the frame, then they don't look particularly wrong together either
