Plastic, wood or metal? Pros and cons? I live next to the sea so plastic seems a good idea but they look crap and flimsy. The metal ones are a mare to put together allegedly. A wooden one would compromise space as the shed would be surrounded on three sides so I'd need to leave a gap to treat it.

What do you recommend? And what do you have just now? This is basically a storage space for all the garage crap to make a nice wee man cave in there :D

Metal - condensation

Plastic - gales

Spend a bit on a decent wooden one and it becomes the ultimate man cave with TV, Surround sound, cold beer, hot women and oh, yeah, bikes.

Depending on the size,, I'd block and render it fella.. ;) safe and secure... and easy to build... :) ;)

You know i'm going to say this... concrete!
You can pick up an old concrete garage for nowt, cut the slabs down to shed size. Paint the concrete green or whatever to blend in, hey presto a sea proof garage :P

Everywhere I go now (online) has an advert for sheds :o

To expand a bit, as I said this will be for the lawnmower/garden tools/paint crap from the house etc. I have a prefab concrete garage that will be the mancave. Now anything I spend on the shed will take from the man cave budget, kinda need to balance this in a bit.

I was going to say concrete base , thermalite inner skin , cavity and brick outer but if it's for the garden shite just cover it over with a couple of bin liners
