Servicing a Pace RC36

Hello, i'm new to this site so i hope i'm not posting in the wrong section. If so, excuse me.
I have a 1997 Scapin Pro Race which has a Pace RC36 (pic related)



The problem is that when i lift the front wheel the fork moves down a bit.
I'm thinking about disassembling it, do a general check and maybe replace the spring, but i've never done ssomething like this.
I searched for some infos but i couldn't find anything specific to this fork (there is something about the rc36, but for other models like EVO, EVOII...).

Can someone give me some hints?

Considering they are a spring based fork I would assume so...

Justbackdated is your man for info, I am afraid I have only ever serviced RC35's. If there is any similarity it is a case of undoing the long allen keys at the bottom of the legs and then pulling the sliders off the stanchions.

I've had a similar problem with these and I believe it was fixed by putting air in.
To take them apart you remove the circlips on the bottom after removing air. Then they pull out. To get at the internals you remove the circlips on top and pull the tops off. Remove air first. Becareful as the oil goes everywhere.

As JeRkY said they are spring based.
Tomorrow i'll try to remove the carbon things, hoping that i'll be able to reassemble it (all those springs...hummmmmm...)

After checking these are bolted at the bottom. Whereas the magnesium ones have the circlip.
All 6 pairs of RC36 I own use air as well as springs. I have sold another 3 pairs that also used air.
Perhaps these are different as they are the first ones?

I tried to unscrew the allen bolts at the bottom of the fork. They came out covered of grease but i couldn't manage to remove the carbon thing.

These are the first edition 36's and will most likely use springs and an oil bath for damping in the top right leg. If they're the early1997 version, then they may even be elastomers inside, as I've seen a pair with that set up.
There is little documented on the web regarding their servicing, but it's really not that hard to do, and as it's been said already, Tim at Fork English will help you with parts.

by the way today i opened them but i think the problem is inside the internal stanchions which i didn't dissassemble.

There should be circlips on top of the stanchions to remove.
