Hi- I have been searching here a bit - and received some direction, but wanted to get some concrete suggestions for a rigid fork for a serotta Atx frame (I think 96) that I picked up last year.

yeah - I didnt take the chain off ....yet......

I took delivery of another bike last week which I will use as the source for xtr900 components - so I think that besides the stem, a fork is really all I have (for now) on my needs list - and size is 1 1/8-

I would like to say money is no issue - but not completely true - but I also think that a budget limit of say 120 USD (give or take) is not an issue for a rigid fork to get the job done.

I think a bontrager or tange switchblade looks nice - but I also like the look of the fork on this atx as well (dont know what fork it is)

I have looked in the catalogues from the period - no mention of rigid forks.

Weight is the main criteria, period correct is not a necessity, terrain will be pretty flat (sweden) single track type stuff mostly - maybe some long distance - most important is that it passes in with the frame in looks and weight / performance (if that isnt vague...)

Experience has shown me that it is better to choose right the first time - so that is why I am turning to this crowd. I just need help to narrow the search - appreciate the help! And of course let me know if I forgot any details!

Cheers
