Seized seatpost

Having not attempted to move the Syncros seatpost in my Fat Buckshaver for the last ten years, I've just changed the saddle and when I came to raise the seatpost slightly, noticed that the post seems to have seized. I've heard that Coke in the seat tube can work and that hitting things with hammers can not work well. Any advice on budging it without destroying frame or post?

I got you. Think I 've found the answers I need. I should have known it would all be in here somewhere (bows head, shuffles backwards towards door).
