Seeking to identify the model of a GT from the 90s

Hi guys! I'm from Brazil.

I'm new to the forum, I'm trying to identify the model of a 90's GT frame.

I'm the second owner of the bike, I've had it since the 90's. However, the previous owner had pasted the graphics under a different name than the actual model. Over the years the bike was dismantled and left in the garage and now I want to start a project with it.

However, I'm having trouble finding the frame specs, I don't know the frame size.

Can you help me identify the bike model, or can you give me tips on how I can get the information?

The bike doesn't have the original paint anymore, but I have the serial number that starts with H4**** and some pictures of it.

Frame made in 1994, I believe, so either a 94 or 95 model. Aluminium with a curved end cap suggests one of the 7005 models - Backwoods, Terramoto, Panthera.

That is right, the last year that the double bolt mech hanger was used was 1995. It also has cantilever bosses so it earliest including 1993 - including 1995. The rounded cap tells us that its not a Zaskar although rather a lovely 7005 frame

Which 7005 model I'm not sure perhaps worth having a look at the serial number structure.

Have a browse through the 94/95/96 catalogues here I’m guessing a backwoods/pantera as mentioned above.

Looks at least an 18” or a 20” to me, the size is normally stamped on the inside left rear dropout.

I was able to identify the frame model.

it's a GT Avalanche Suspension 95', the frame has the same dimensions as a GT Pantera Suspension 95', what changes between them are the components.

Then I post the result of the project.
