Ok time for handlebar grips to go on ...

Best way of attaching them so they don't move?

I remember using my mother's hairspray back in the 90s
Ive moved out and have no hair now lol

Cheers all

+1 for hairspray - I've never needed to use anything else.

The paradox is that it's also brilliant for removing grips that have been well stuck (i.e. by hairspray) if you can lift the end up a bit, spray it around and use the end of a pencil or something to wiggle it around.

Re:

Another for hairspray here , never had problems with slipping,,..got to make sure it's L'Oreal professional mind

I'd use meths to clean the bars first prior to the application for best results ;)

I use it also to remove the grips should I wish , a long art painting brush worked in and worked around whilst spraying in releases them a treat ..

VO 5 Extra Hold.

Get funny looks from people when they look on the solvents shelf in the garage and see hair spray, talcum powder, and baby oil.
