Cheers mate that's great what does ratios mean this were I get confused I would just put one on add derailieurs and gears and away I go I assume 13 t 27 means the teeth on small big cog cheers

Yes, in that case 13t is the bottom cog and 27t the top cog.

Assuming you are using a triple at the front and not going single chainring? That would make a bit of a difference. Also what rear mech would you be using as that could make a difference to the largest top cog on the back. I’m no expert on this, lots of people on here know off the top of their head the cog capacity of any given rear mech!

Jesus this is what burns my head out so there is a limit to the amount on teeth you can have on the big cog here's me thinking any 8 speed back cassette would work ye all my builds will be triple at the front I just pulled them cog numbers out of the air on my first build this will be the set up

My crank is a tripe can't think off the name top of my head it has 2 springs on it
I have just got an 8 speed sram cassette for this have to dig it out to find the perticulars now I thinking will it work cheers for the help gtpulse
