Nah, the fearties have spoken.

So we are to expect these 'wilful' youth to turn into Tories as soon as they have jobs, mortgages and kids?

Mmmmm... I think not!

Most of the working age people in Scotland favour independence, regardless of our responsibilities.

Fact.

And as far as the percentages, we should remember 660,000 did not vote.

We have work to do, but we are already looking at ways to engage the new generation of SNP supporters and all the rest from whatever political background who made up a substantial vote for YES.

This is a political movement growing, it will not dissipate as the likes of Cameron hope.

some people can't take no for an answer.
even your own poll voted no, how many of them were postal votes ?

Gee. I guess you do realise that was a poll on an international message board about bicycles?

Telling that even here there was a majority against the status quo though!

..for those banging on about it being over, and that is that.

Even a good number of NO voters realise it is far from over, and a majority expect there may be another round within the next ten years.

That's exactly what this referendum was supposed to prevent. One chance for this generation to decide, then shut up and accept the democratic will of the people either way.

But no, too many of the "45" (as they so aptly like to call themselves) are too pig headed to look to history to see what is actually brought about by their kind of niggling unrest; it always ends up with things being worse for Scotland. Look what happened after '45 - and remember that that WASN'T Scotland vs England, or some attempt to gain democratic Scottish Independence.

Re:

What a load of bollocks.

Like I asked earlier if Scotland did go independent, would the no voters get to have the same referendum the yes voters seem to want again.
Then continue that forever or at least till say 85% of the population actually want to be how they are.

As for the no voters, well they couldn't give a toss how they are run, so ignore them.
But even with them all voting yes, it really is not exactly the will of a good majority of the people.

I feel sorry for the BBC all this pantomime and bigging of up and it was such a damp squid for them in the end.

So is Scotland going to get another independence vote in the next five years..if it's going to end up with a yes vote can't it be better to do it now, if it works out I'm sure a few no would become yes...can't Scotland have say a two year trial see how it goes.

How about we have an X Factor style competition every five years to find a new leader for the UK, and each country take it in turns to run the joint?
