Score!! Spooky Bandwagon :P

Build went really well, even the rear brake mount. I haven't tapped the frame to secure it but it feels stable . . .

Inaugural ride was cut short due to a snapped chain  but it feels pretty good . . . reckon it's a keeper

As mentioned before, some of the newer parts have been borrowed from my little DJ bike and will be replaced as funds allow. The pivotal seat and post will be the first to go - I have my eye on a tacky USA flag seat

Feels more like a hardcore hardtail than a jump bike with the long forks - pretty slack, but I like it. A nice pair of Shivers would certainly be something to think of in the future 8) .

Tongue in cheek comment I'm sure Lynne

Looking great though :D

All flagged up now - still can't decide whether it's tacky or cool but hey . . .

Was pretty pleased to find a new 24Bicycles, ahem, Cock Ring seat clamp too 8)

Climbs like a dog but should be a riot downhill - not about to find out any time soon as those tyres feel like skates on ice after my super tackys

Happy New Year!!

Looks ace.

Spooky frames are ace. Some if my mates had the Metalhead back in the day...I wonder what happened to them? Probably gathering dust in a garage or shed.

That's calling out for some period Z1's.

Those Tioga tyres were awful in their day, let alone these days when we have super tacky compounds.

Yeah better tyres would transform it ride wise

Z1s and decent tyres definitely on the wishlist :P I think the 130mm DJs are a little too long for it anyway and Marz forks of that era had a pretty tall axle to crown height.

But ruining bikes geometry by fitting Bombers was derigor back then! Or if you couldn't afford Z1's, Mozo Pro 4.5's would do a grand job too!
