saw a lovely mountain goat whiskytown racer bike today.

whilst i was visiting my local bike shop (paying towards my first decent road bike).a gentleman came in with said bike for a service.

all i can say is what a lovely bike it is

have never seen one in the flesh before,it looked stunning with it's orange/yellow swirly paint job and original (i think) manitou forks.it was also resplendent in first gen xtr and had lovely hope hubs/ritchey brakes/mavic headset.

all in all it was lovely (can you tell i'm slightly jealous

it's prestige tubes were nearly as skinny as my duster's are :shock:

no it was the melksham bike shop (melksham cycle centre).bikes n boards are still going though (they are now opposite roses ironmongers (where the rising sun pub used to be).

edit just found out that it was a gentleman's bike from here Tc's whiskeytown racer (after googling whiskeytown racer bike http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... sc&start=0 stunning bike indeed sir
