Saracen Sahara fork help

Just got a 1993 Sahara elite se with the Saracen suspension fork which is very rusty and very seized i guess they weren't much cop anyway? what fork would you guys recommend i fit to replace it?

not 450mm - that's way too long, more like 410-420 max! :?

The original 'Max Drive Chromoly Suspension System' forks had about 50mm of elastomer damped travel, probably less, and probably similar in action to a pogo stick.

They were based on the Tange Shock Blades used on some of the higher models in the 93 range. Again with these forks you had to look pretty close to actually see the suspension travel working.

Anyway, the A to C measurement on these would be more like 420mm. Something like a 60mm travel fork like a RockShox Quadra or Mag ought to work.
Or rigid of course.
