Have you tried the same but with coke isntead of WD40? It really does work...

Singletrack - have hack sawed the post off as high as poss, rescued my Kona clamp I wanted for the....erm...Kona and just managed to get the BB out pretty easily. Tomorrow I'm seeing a customer with a bench vice (I haven't got one) so am going to whack it in there and have a good wrench.
