Possibly, but the logos and fonts are completely off with its refurb'ed repalcements.

Claims it was from around 1989/90
BUT
Top tube cable routing is on the bottom not top of top tube
Rear mech hanger is not on the frame
Components are not consistent with any single era and not 1989

Lots of question marks....

As Repacker said. Also the seat collar is wrong for an 89/90 Rockhopper.

Dont recall Halfords selling Rockhoppers but they did Hardrocks.

The ebay ad has what looks like a personal photo that might be from Halfords, showing Hardrocks and Rockhoppers alongside Apollos, Raleighs and Peugeots. (But that still doesn't make this a Rockhopper.)
