Rock Shox Judy DH Help wanted please.. :)

Hi Guys,

Just took apart my rockshox judy DHs :shock: first ever shoks I have attempted to strip unscrewed the legs from the steerer removed brace , so I now have two individual legs unscrewed the adjuster bit thing at the top to be greeted by a spring in each leg followed by a 'packer' this fits into the spring at one end and the other end is flat unscrewed the bolts at the bottom of each leg , but cant remove the stanchions from the lower leg sections :? how is this done ? anyone :? :? :roll:

Screw the bolts in the bottom of the fork legs back in a few turns then tap 'em with a hammer. You can use a punch or an allen key in place to protect them. Doing this breaks a seal between the fork leg and the stanchion, once the bolts have done there job remove 'em and the legs should come out easily.
