Have you tried using a black permanent marker pen to touch up the scrape? Its great in the flesh too, unfortunately Argos applied too liberally on the Columbus bars so managed to scrape some paint off trying to squeeze them into the Ritchey stem![]()
Not yet buddy, might try wet n dry 1st with a polish after, if that doesn't work I'll get a sharpie on itHave you tried using a black permanent marker pen to touch up the scrape?
They are good at hiding blemishes.
Amazing paint and build. Would you mind elaborating on ‘polished, waxed and sealed’ please? I’m always curious what others use to shine and protect. Great projectIve now treated the frame and given it a Polish, then waxed and sealed, looks amazing.
Thanks pal, i tend to use whatever ive used on my car or have open at the time. Pretty sure on this one I used Autobrite Direct polish/cleanser followed by gtecniq C2 sealant then chemical guys butter wet wax on top. It now needs another quick going over to get rid of any grease and finger prints, i'll use a quick detailer for this, probably poor boys world qdplus which has carnuber wax in it.Amazing paint and build.
