pearl jam ten?

They never did it for me. The wife loves 'em

Things I think I know about the band/album I'm trying to think of:

American.
Black and white photo on the album cover.
A bit political (that's what got me thinking about spearherd)
Loud.
My parents didn't like them.
I still play the album sometimes.

Rifling through my vinyl & CDs to no avail...

I quite like Emmure for big and noisy and ever-so-slightly brutal...

Ummm, never heard of them  Just looked them up in wikipeda...

:D :D :D

That's not it but the video helped! The word rage appeared bottom right and it finally clicked: rage against the machine!

Thank you thank you thank you.

I can go to sleep now...

Hang on...

It's in my head now.

And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya...

Must listen. Sleep can wait...

Looking at your selection so far I'd add Ice T Original Gangster, Snoop Doggy Style, any Naughty by Nature and Wu-Tang 36 Chambers 8)

And take a spare set of speakers.

With four people all turning the stereo up when they hear a track they like you are bound to blow a set before you get there.

On Days Like These - Matt Munro!
No, seriously - the opening theme from the Italian Job!

Keep an eye out for earthmoving equipment being driven by the Mafia, though....

But there is a really obvious, massive 90s album I am trying to think of and can't think of it. :x

It's like having a word on the tip of your tongue...

It's not the chillies, but they're always good to have along.
It's not Spearhead, or the disposable heros...

Aaaagh, I wont be able to sleep...
As soon as I read this, I thought of RATM! Ah well, you got there in the end... :)
