Ritchey P21 Questions.

A couple of questions for you who have knowledge of everything!

Should there be a 'noodle' or some other sort of protection where the cable for the back brake goes through the hole next to the seat clamp?

Also, would the seven speed rear cassette originally have had gears one, two and three as alloy and the other four steel, or would this have been modified as such since new?

Not sure I trust alloy in applications such as that. Anyone have any bad (or good) experiences with mixed cassettes?

Lastly, how do you adjust the left/right bias on Ritchey Logic cantilevers? I am used to the old wide angle Shimano XT that has the 2mm allen adjuster that alters the tension of the spring. What is the Ritchey alternative?

Thanks in advance,

Mark H.

tefton guide needed for the brake. same as used on pre-trek kleins for where the cables enter/exit the frame.

Thanks Mike. Any of you Klein or Ritchey owners mind taking a quick pic of one so I know what to ask for? Not that it would help much, the poor lad in the LBS struggled to find any canti blocks today! Sorry mate, if it ain't hydraulic, I don't know.
