Ringle? Now with pics so you can tell me!

evening all! Just been looking at the polishing thread and i noticed some ringle skewers, i know verylittle about bikes as you will know if you have read any of my posts so bear with me!

I am currently keeping my bike in the kitchen due to recently recovering it from a thief and i noticed that all my qr gear, skewers and seat clamp are exactly the same as the ones in the polishing thread, well apart from being blue!

Is there any way to tell if they are ringle as i cant post pics til 2moro when i can borrowmy mates camera, ie some markings somewhere as i cant seem to find any!

And also are they good if so? forgive me for not knowing and being a noob!

Hard to tell if they're real or fake...

Any good? Well they do a decent job of being a nice light QR set, that clamp things tightly, and look good to boot, but they're more 'iconic' (to me anyway) than anything else...

And I couldn't afford them when I was a teenager, but I can now....

ringle or not

well they definitely look like ringle and as per usual they are missing the rubber rings (which can be found in any hardware shop btw)

they look like the aluminium model with steel skewer

hope this helps as for being real or fake they look real

the holes in the fake ones never seem to line up equally at each side

I'm pretty sure they're the real thing...

I always thought the cam-action on the QR wasn't good enough on the Ringle skewers BITD, this can be seen in the pic.
I always had to twist mine half a turn first then open the cam...
Also they never had a curved washer, like on the bottom skewer, it looks like it must be a replacement as the others have the flat washer...

However, the look effing cool. And THAT is what matters!
