I am trying to get a decent chainline in a 'parts box special' Singlespeed build.
I have a nice old Hope Ti screw-on rear hub, but of course the spacing is all wrong for a single freewheel instead of a 7s one.
Is there anything wrong about swapping the axle (and axle spacers) end-for end and then building the wheel up with dish the wrong way round? I've worked out the spoke lengths etc and it looks doable.
Anyone tried this kind of thing and can offer the benefit of experience?
