Retro skateboards

I have a santa cruz Jeff Grosso with gullwing trucks, bullets, NSK's (will have to check), cellblock 1 & 3 all held togeter with rat nuts

Still in mum and dads garage - could do with a resto job :?

so cool.

That's lovely....got to hang that on the wall

I've got quite a few of my old decks, faves have to be my first setup (Rob Roskopp IV) and a sweet Vallely lightning bolt :D

I once had a plain G+S board which local legend has it was found on the beach and had floated from the states! It was mahoosive compared to the nylon things we had, you could get four of us on it to go down the local hill. It had ACS trucks and yoyo's. :D

Cheers chaps . . I know my parents paid a lot for it in the 70's and it had hardly any use.

But I can't find anything about 'TRIMS' . . . anywhere..

It used to have a sticker on the top side near the back but the kids peeled it off

And I have to admit to the application of a damp rag to wipe the muck off it where it's been hanging in the shed for the last 3 years.

anyone remember a film, the guy lived like in a sewer, and had his skateboards modded/repaired by someone else who lived there and then he went out ot fight bad dudes, cant remember the name, like a skateboard version of the bmx bandits

I sold some Alligator wheels last year for £160 the four. The buyer came to collect them and remarked on what good condition they were in. I explained that they took nearly 6 months to be sent over, and in that time I bought and used some Yandalls, but then Kryptonics came out so the Yandalls were also pretty minty. He practically wet himself.
They're still up in my Dad's loft somewhere, along with my old G&S deck...
Might have to go for a rummage this weekend...

I had a Variflex Joker when I was 10. It came with red Streetrage II wheels, black plastics and black grip tape. After a short time though it had fluro yellow grip tape and all the plastics were changed for more colourful ones. The tail bone/guard (or whatever they were called) changed colour almost on weekly basis, mainly because the only trick I could do was skiding it down the road lol. I could do a 360 too  I remembered the risers were a bit tasty as my older brother convinced me to spend my pocket money upgrading them, but it wasn't until I read WD Pro's post that I remembered what they were, Santa Cruz Cell Blocks 8)

I always wanted a Vision Gator in green.
