Retro skateboards

Out in the shed earlier. noticed my old skateboard hanging up out there.

My parents bought it for me in the 70's from a little shop in Rainham Village, Essex.

It's a Trims (skateboards of London) freestyle deck, slalom pro trucks (I think) and I can't remember what the wheels are (but do remember all my roller skating mates wanted to buy them from me)..

Tried Googling but can't find anything about Trims.. anyone hot sh*t on retro skateboards?

i was a grom in the late 80s early 90s. acquired a santa cruz with slimeballs and indy trucks

still skate once a year tho on xmas eve eve with the boys

get some pics up,sure itll help with identifying and bring back many good memories for othwrs to.

nearly bought an new old stock powell from newquay last week,wife reminded me ive got too many toys as it is lol

I was worse on a skateboard than I ever was on skates . . and I was really REALLY awful on skates

Hehe those very words would make us jealous as kids in the 80s... We all had cheap John Menzies/Argos boards with hard plastic wheels... Then a bloke we knew turned up on a Variflex


Couldn't actually skate to save my life. I did full splits down a hill once. :shock:
