don't see the problem,myself....its a capitalist society.fair play to him and good luck with his sale, should put some bread on the table for his little 'uns.i've bought plenty of bikes for buttons purely for profit,so i guess that makes me first against the wall then...

Must admit I don't see it as too much of a problem on ebay either. I would not buy cheap on here then sell for more on ebay or get an ebay bargain and sell it on here for more but would and have picked up bikes on ebay for buttons (badly listed, no postage, etc) and relisted them properly then reaped the benifit

Yeah, I'd agree - if someone is happy to meet their price for it, then fair enough.

Though they could have made a little more effort if they wanted to make some money from it:
"surface rust on chainrings - may clean up"

I really don't see a problem with it. It went for £35 originally, someone who wanted it could have paid £40 and still got a bargain.

I actually quite like the fact there are breakers too. I don't have the time or funds to buy bikes just for one part I need, if someone else is will to do the hard graft and buy, split and sell then fair play...

Ok ok, so the concensus is that its all good, I was just sharing my opinion sorry to upset anyone, if we all had the same opinions the world really would be a boring place to live.
And yes I do know what scam means, no need for trolling.

All the best people.
