Retro Bianchi

Fork brace/ arch looks different to me though? On the pic of the bike it looks more rounded/tubular. On the pic above it looks more machined/cnc'd?

Hmmm... Also see where the stanchions fit into the crown? On the bike pic it looks like the bolts are at the rear. In the catalogue the bolts seem to be in the front.
I may be wrong though.

I have an OEM XCR that came off a 95 Kona Koa - with the same rear-facing bolts and similar colour. Crown is black though.

Groupset is 94 XT isn't it? There was a period where you could get XT with either Vs or Cantis though.

Maybe its an interim model or something.

Marzochi from that period are great fork. I used to race a xc500 on a kona AA back in 95. I loved it. Except it a little flexi, like most of the other fork of this ages.

At last I got this Bianchi... ;)

The frame is Superset 1 / Superlug. Do You know sg about these tubes?

The groupest is M737/M738 XT.

Rims are Mavic M 231.

Seatpost is Selcof Team 26.8.

ITM stem and handlebar.

San Marco "Pirelli" saddle. (I think Cro-mo rails.)
