SOLD
I rode this frame for a few months but then started getting a creaking sound that I could't place. Found out that the lugs are flexing at several points because the glue has evidently dried out or degraded.
It is a very beautiful frame and re-gluing lugs is not hard for someone who has a jig to make sure they are aligned right when put back together.
The glue used by Carbon Bike Solutions down in Derbyshire who repair carbon bonded frames is Araldite 2015 - but people say even something like scotch-weld can do the trick. 3M also have glues that are comparable but are hard to get hold of. Ideally you want a strong 2 part epoxy that has some flexibility.
I know there are some of you on here that do this kind of thing so I am putting a tentative price on it of £40 posted or £25 collected from Brighton or London. The forks and headset are not included but will be for sale seperately..
