By the sounds of it it'd take a couple of minutes to build up with weld and dress up. Far superior job and probably cheaper than any decent metal putty.

Konaglider Retrobike Rider Feedback View Jan 22, 2011 #4 Thanks. I think you're right, a bit of 'weld' on it and machine to shape will be the way forwards. You never know what you'll find when you start stripping them down :evil:
