Happy Sunday, folks! 8)

On the lookout for a laptop atm, around the £400 mark.
I know nothing about processors, models etc. Or much about laptops generally for that matter. Other than how to get me in trouble with resulting bike shaped parcels.

All I need it for - with added Norton security which works well with the current one - is internet - eBay, RetroBIKE, playing the odd Youtube video, and sometimes downloading photos or videos from my bike helmet camera.

What can you tell me?

I look at reviews on the PCWorld offerings, and there's a lot of negatives on the ones in the price range. Just seen a Dell one, new model. Obviously no reviews, but I've heard of the make.

Pc world are offering cash back at the minute am sure I seen advert on tv? Might have dreamt it though?!?
This should see you get a few quid off whatever you choose. Another thing you could try is a place that refurbs them, most offer 12 month warranty on refurbed stuff and its a lot cheaper than buying new. Stick with well known names though not some eBay or gumtree chinky crap.

Good luck

Re:

Dell Inspiron 15 with a Pentium - I've heard of them too! - processor seems favourite from what I've seen so far.
Cheap deals on MC AFEE security and Windows word thingy too when bought together

Very tempting
