**** Now Sold**** For Sale. A Raleigh Special Products Bike. Probably one of the last to 'un' officially leave the factory.
I purchased it off the last production manager when he came to work at my place. He said he'd assembled it from bits he'd got available. (Sorry I'm not a bike person) Its got Shimano brakes, gears and hubs. The spokes are snowflakes. Measures 20" from top of sseatpost to centre of pedal sspindle.
Everything works and is reasonably smooth. The frame isn't perfect however with scratches etc consummate with me riding it on and off for the last 10 years.
A colleague if mine thought it might have been destined to have been a cyclo cross bike but he wasn't sure.
I'm sure someone out there probably knows more.
