Hi I'm new to the forum. And just have to tell you about my bargain. I was looking on eBay for a vintage road bike to do up and put a modern twist on it,
But I stumbled on a equipe that in the description said " been in dry storage for its whole life" it had a few bids on and was in my same town aswel. So I inboxed the seller to see if they would except a 'buy it now'..
4 hours went passed and I had a reply. They said yes and what was I offering. I replied £30 and to my surprise the said YES. So off I went to find a very nice lady who was selling it and as she opened the garage door. To see a white/grey/yellow Raleigh equipe covered in polythene and in MINT condition and still with the original tyres too.
The bike is the 18-23 frame but I don't really care about that. I feel like I've found a beauty.
Like I said I was looking for a 'racer' to do you but I can't touch it all I've got planned is some new 25c tyres.
