Raleigh Dyna-Tech 853 (with some *modern bits)

CX bikes is a whole different kettle of fish. As some years they had a model in the range, some years they didn't. I know a team mate had a 531 raleigh tourer painted up as an RSP one year (it made a terrible cx bike!). And Nick Craig had a couple of 853 raleighs made up (custom) when he was riding for diamond back, just different stickers. I have one of them still.

The branding if raleigh stuff from about 92-00 was confusing as hell. And i worked in a dealer from 92-96 then rode for them. And for most of that period the branding changed pretty much every year or two. Finally settled down a bit in 98.....

That's a lovely looking Dyna tech you've got their cab and you seem to have had it some time now which must mean it's been a joy to ride and on a personal note i'd change the saddle just to match up with the bar tape but that's just me ;) ..

Re:

Thank you for those kind words muddy paw, I have had her a couple of years and she does ride rather nicely imho, i changed the bar tape from black to blue just to match the frame, I have had in in reserve for a while so with the weather getting better it was time for a change. I have never seen a flite saddle in blue??

C

Your very welcome cab3086 and yes i do prefer the blue tape to the black as black tends to look a bit dull with darker coloured frames imho as for flite saddles not being available in blue mmm! i could of sworn that i seen them in blue unless it's charge saddles that i'm thinking of ..

Re:

i have looked online for a blue Flite saddle, and found one lol its only avail as an import in Asia :( i hope i am wrong?

has anyone else seen Flit saddles in different colours??
