I remember them as crap, heavy and uncomfortable. Sorry. But if I liked them I'd want one with its original paint. If you can get a good colour match from car paint or even nail varnish you could maybe touch in any blemishes on the original paint. Test it somehwhere inconspicuous first - underside of the frame.
Post up a pic - don't see too many choppers here and I do remember them well if not fondly.
