raising funds for a trip?

yeah i know it does,like i said,i have no expeirence of organising somrthing like this so wanted to know what the norm is,i now know i have found some good info online of ways to go about it though..

I'm not convinced with the trek the Inca trail and raise cash for charity and that sort of thing. Raise money for a good cause by all means (your charity is an admirable one) but getting sponsored to go on holiday?
