Wanted Racing frame and fork from the 80s/90s

Hi

I'm looking for - or looking to build - a single speed commuter. Something with a 56-58 top tube. I've only ever built up 'modern' bikes before, so don't really know how this is going to work out, but I think I'd like a track or racing frame and forks from the 80s/90s. Nothing too good (or too expensive), but decent quality tubing in decent condition. And also any advice anyone wants to impart.

Anyone got anything? Thanks in advance.

Now if you want 80/90s frame, it won't work quite as well for a single speed as OLN will be either 126 or 130mm, rather than track specific 120mm.

Saying that I have a fab candidate frameset - 1964 Pat Hanlon in good condition, R531 tubing 56cm ctc both seat and top tube 100/120OLN so easy conversion into ss. Below is pic of it when it was fully built
