Just picked this up from a customer to do a few repairs on it.

Does anyone have any idea on the year or any other info on it?

Its not mine but I like to know what I'm working on and I haven't a great deal of knowledge on road bikes.

Is it something worth making perfect for my customer or simply an old bso?

I'd take a stab at 1983-ish, but there are other peple on here that know more about Puch than me. The Brooks saddle and (not original?) Bluemels guards means someone loves it.

The only thing I know about it is that its sat in her garage unridden for years.

She was told it needed a new chain but its the rear mech thats the problem amongst many others.

i would go along with early 80's as well check the back of the brake castings as they are normally date stamped along woth the hubs should get you close , nice looking bike

I will have a look for a date, must give it a test ride before I take it back, it does look nice and its in very good condition.
